The SDI Advanced Scuba Diver Development Program was created to make truly “Advanced Divers.” During the course your Instructor will take you through four complete SDI specialty courses (for example; Deep Dive, Navigation, Advance Buoyancy, etc.) covering all the skills and subjects, so that by the end you will feel comfortable to conduct dives of a similar nature. Once you have completed all the training and you will be awarded the SDI Advanced Scuba Diver certification.

  1. SDI Advance Open Water Diver Course
  2. To enroll in the SDI Advance Open Water Scuba Diver Course, you must;
  • SDI Open Water Scuba Diver or equivalent
  • Be 18 years old or older
  • Read and Sign the Assumption of Risk and Liability Release form
  • Fill out the Medical Declaration form
  • Be able to swim and treat water comfortably



 DAY 1
07:45      Meeting point at Jesselton Point jetty
08:30     Proceed 10 minutes boat transfer to Dive Base at TARP Island
– Dive 1: Elective Dive (Peak Performance Buoyancy)
– Dive 2: Core Dive (Underwater Navigation)
– Dive 3: Elective Dive (Multi-level Dive)
15:30      Depart back to Jesselton Point jetty

07:45      Meeting point at Jesselton Point jetty
08:30     Proceed 10 minutes boat transfer to Dive Base at TARP Island
– Dive 4: Core Dive (Deep Dive – above 18 meters)
– Dive 5: Elective Dive (Boat Dive)
15:30      Depart back to Jesselton Point jetty

  • In the case of schedule changes or cancellation due to traffic, weather or other force major, SEAMAUI BORNEO have the right to alter routes, timetables, itineraries and accommodation reserved should conditions beyond our control render it necessary.​

  • Patients of following diseases are NOT recommended to participate the Diving adventure: hypertension, heart disease, asthma, epilepsy, pregnant woman.
  • Alcohol consumption during your dive or trip is NOT RECOMMENDED.
  • Participants are refrain from touching and teasing turtles, marine life and corals reef. Anyone refraining will sit out the next diving or snorkeling.
  • While the jellyfish season varies, it usually occurs during mid of the year or/and end of the year. Do be extra careful and inform our guides should you be stung. Jelly bugs are common in the waters but they are usually harmless and their stings will just cause some slight itch.
